In the midst of working on some paintings, I decided to try my hand at making a polymer clay sculpture based off of my octo paintings. I had only worked with the clay a little before, so there was definitely a learning curve along the way. I pretty much sculpted him 3 times before I got a result I liked. I still have to figure out a few things and make sure I don't mix up the clays too much, but I'm pretty proud of my first little sculpture and plan on making many more. Hope you like him!

2009 was a really good year for the development of my art. I finally came up with a style that I really love and from here I will continue to persue that look and hopefully make better paintings this next year. 2010 bring it on!
